The Williams family was truly blessed for 4 weeks this late Spring, early Summer. Conner came up and stayed with us and helped out with watching the kids while Dan and I were working. The kids had an absolute blast! And we all know that Conner has a special place in Sophia's heart, so she was elated upon his arrival in May. There really are no words that explain what a wonderful time we had while he was here, nor could we ever express how much we love and appreciate him, his friendship and his love for us. Conner you are truly family to us, we love you and will miss having you around~ And like my mom...you freaking made my cry after you drove off! That proves that I love you, even though you keep kicking our butts at road rage! One day, Conner, one day!

Where this Madeline, there WAS Rascal. Yes, Again Madeline has had a pet tragedy~! I am starting to feel really bad for her. She has had and lost 3 cats and 2 hamsters in 3 years! When she gets older she would be smart to never tell the boys about this or they may just be too scared to date her. Rascal was given to her by Uncle Neue and Aunt Cherlynne on her birthday this last January. At least with Daisy and Reilly (the first two cats) they got hit by a car, and we had some finality. With Rascal, we are not sure where he is. We left to go back to Oregon for a couple of day on a family emergency. When we came home, he was no where to found. UNcle Neue kept checking mail etc and he never came back once. So, we are just not sure where he is or what happened. Sad day for Maddy!

This is Milo, or as we call him at times "Quatro" People always speak of cats having 9 lives! I think our family misunderstood that for 9 cats. This is #4. Although if tragedy befalls little Milo, this will be the last! Mom is done. Besides, the names I have left are for my dog that I am patiently waiting for.

Spencer had his end of year kindergarten program last week. He had a little speaking part and did totally AWESOME. We are really proud of him. This was a cute little show. They started their show with a song about colors they did sign language to. When you bumped into Spencer you should quiz him on his sign language. It so cool to watch.

At the end of the school year Mcdonald Elementry has an annual FUN RUN. It is a fun time. They get a great t-shirt and have dinner after they run a mile. Madeline did it last year with Dan and she loved it! So, since this was her last year at McDonald she wanted to make sure that she got to go again, one last time with her dad. they had a really good time!

MADDY #7. Softball has begun! It is so fun watching these girls play. No T. I was amazed to see that they have these 7 and 8 year old girls pitching windmill! Their uniforms do also consist of socks...unfortunately they are back ordered...yikes on the hot pink anklets. It has been really interesting watching Madeline learn the fundamentals. She is very athletic and has picked up most things really quick. She has now been inducted into the "family business" I am sure Grandpa Seaman, Grandma French and Auntie Char are absolutely ecstatic for the next generation of fastpitch! Good Job Maddy~!

Spencer has officially started his 2006 Baseball/T-Ball season! He gets to play with his best buddy Logan! It is so fun to watch these little guys! Dan is the assistant coach and Logans dad, our good friend Josh, is head coach.

Most of you know that in September I started working for a criminal defense law office. This last Spring we opened up a new meeting place in downtown and we rotate which one of us legal assistants will be going down to man the office each day. It is a great office space, the area just makes me a little nervous.... ok, a lot nervous! Well, last month when I went down for one of my days I was actually going to have to be alone and I was to be working on some case work for a pretty big case, which in itself causes me enough anxiety. (graphic pictures etc) . So the night before I was telling Dan how stressed out I was feeling~The next morninghe was explaining to the kids that I was just really sad and nervous and I was going to have to be lookking at some not good pictures of things and the kids started bussling around the house gathering things. The next thing I now, Dan came to the office to meet me for lunch and he had several framed pictures from the house that the kids picked out "to make me happy" they also took these great silly picutres in the morning before school so that Dan could bring those along too. Obvioiusly we are getting close to softball and t-ball!

Serendipity Catering: First event! Cinco De Mayo!

So, my good friend Sarah and I have this uncanny love of cooking that has brought us together. I'll never forget the moment I realized that I had a kindred spirit in the kitchen! We went to Josh and Sarah's home for a youth event and she served up the famous "pizza loaf". I asked her if she made the dough from scratch. Of course she responded with an "oh yeah, that is the only way" Coupling that with our first invite to their house when we came to Spokane, I watched as she sliced and diced and whipped out a HUGE bowl of salsa in less than 5 minutes~ Our love of cooking has really nurtured quite the friendship. We have discovered that her and I work great as a team in the kitchen and have started to flirt with the idea of catering on the side. These are photos of our first and Praise the Lord SUCCESSFUL event. It was for a party that my work threw for the opening of our new office downtown!
