Check out the size of that cucumber next to those zucchini. It's the one that is making the top part of the "T." Neue ate the whole thing with dinner.Posted by Picasa

Here are just some of the fresh vegetables we have pulled from our garden this year. Tonight I tried a new method for cooking corn on the cob. I soaked the ears for about an hour in water, then laid them right onto the grill (no foil) to cook. We shucked them after the fact. Not too bad.Posted by Picasa

Josh and Rachel came up for a visit starting Thursday! Today we went to Lake Couer D'Alene for a swim! Posted by Picasa

Spencer practicing for his future wake boarding days!Posted by Picasa

Sophia seems like a giant in this picture. I was proud of all 3 of them they all went in on their own up to their bellies. They are getting better.Posted by Picasa

After countless pictures of his feet and others peoples legs, Spencer finally snapped a picture that is dead on! I think Sophia is just as shocked as us!  Posted by Picasa

Grandma French and Cousin Grace came to town for a little vacation on Wednesday the 3rd and stayed until Sunday. We had a ton of fun. And yes it took me the entire Sunday afternoon and evening to stop having bouts of tears after they left. I have finally come to the conclusion that it is not easier to say goodbye to my mom the longer I live away from her. So for all my friends here when my mom leaves town you might want to keep your distancefor the first 24 or if you dare... bring a few boxes of kleenex. Posted by Picasa

A Day at Riverfront Park!!!

Friday wen spent the entire day at Riverfront park. Here are pictures of some of the things we did! We began the day with some putt putt golf. Spencer was having a tough time figuring out how to hold and maneuver the club not mention keeping them all aligned. yikes!Posted by Picasa

The first ride of the day almost became grandmas last ride of the day! The kids wanted grandma to go with them on the 'Berry go round' and she obliged. However it was funny for me to watch as their berry stopped twirrling while everyone elses was going gangbusters! Grandma was doing her best to stop the twirl as she was getting a little whirly in the head!Posted by Picasa

Spencer was too scared to ride this coaster and Sophia demanded that her grandma sit with her so I got left out to hang with Spence. It looked like a lot of fun and the girls were laughing the entire time. Posted by Picasa

Taking a rest from all the rides we took the 30 minute scenic train ride around Riverfront park. I lovethis picture of my mom and the kids.  Posted by Picasa

After our nice ride on the train we took in the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie at the IMAX theatre in the park. It was hillarious! Posted by Picasa

Sophia hopped on the train to support her big brother who was too afraid to ride the dragon coaster. Maybe next time Spence!  Posted by Picasa
