Conner, Trisha and Rebecca came up for fall break again this year! We had a really great time! (and yes, I cried when they left! I can't help it, I am not a robot woman!) We always have such a good time when friends and family come up! I miss seeing these guys and Rachel and Josh as often as we did back home! We always seem to laugh so much when we are all together! Love you guys!  Posted by Picasa

Sophia loves...I mean LOVES Conner. She was attached to him the second he arrived. And it actually began before he got here. The entire day was Conner...Conner...Conner...She was killing us this entire weekend. The first night she would settle for nothing less than sharing her room with conner and by the last night she actually had her bed pushed up next to his! I recall at one moment this weekend she was also trying to hand feed him some food! We really need to work on her skills! She has yet to learn how to make the boy chase the girl. (she needs to watch a little closer at how Mad handles Galvin)Posted by Picasa

Sophia found her "Great Pumpkin" Posted by Picasa

Spencer was having a tough time focusing on finding a pumpkin. Everytime I looked over at him he was crouched down picking up these huge dirt clods and then throwing them up..I actually caught an action shot with him. He is catching a mouth full of dust after the clod broke mid air and then flew into his face!  Posted by Picasa

Madeline loved pushing this cart all over.  Posted by Picasa

On our way to the Pumpkin patch we dropped by the Kalico Kitchen for some brunch with Jax! Sophia has a love for bacon like nobody's business...she had to make sure to take some home too!  Posted by Picasa

Spence is ready to go!!! In a major rush to get to the pumpkin patch Posted by Picasa

We had a playpin up in our room for our firends little baby girl that was over one night. This night these two were supposed to be in my bed for the night since we had company over. When I went in later to check on them I found this! YIKES! Posted by Picasa

OUR NEW HOME!!!

Posted by Picasa
If everything continues to go smoothly, this will be our new home by November 1st. I never thought I could be this excited about a mortgage payment, but our 6th address in 7.5 years of marriage will be the first for which we don't pay rent!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!! Tina and I are very grateful and excited.

The shadows make it hard to see, but there is an asphalt slab on this side of the house where the previous owners used to park a tent trailer. You can also see part of the deck.Posted by Picasa

It is hard to see from here, but there is a deck on the upper floor that extends off of the kitchen and dining room. That small awning between the garage and the house is for the door that goes into the mudroom/laundry room in the basement.Posted by Picasa

Tina and I walked through the house and made an offer on Tuesday early evening. That night at dinner, Madeline prayed: "Dear Jesus, thank you for our food, bless our bodies, I love my whole family and I really want to live in that yellow house that daddy showed me. Amen" I got a call from our realtor on Wednesday morning saying, "Congratulations!" When I explained to Madeline that this would be our house and we wouldn't be paying to live in someone else's house anymore she said, "You mean if someone told us we had to leave we could tell them no?" I said, "Yup." She said, "Woohoo!!" Posted by Picasa

This is the detached garage and big yard on the back side of the house. Eventually we would like to build a fence along this side.Posted by Picasa

This picture radiates such pure joy and such trust!! I took this picture of Sophia while Dan was holding her up with one hand on her chest above his head. Posted by Picasa

Sophia came into the kitchen the other night with stamps all over her arms and said, "Daddy, look at me." I asked her why she did that and she said, "'Cause I wanna look like Uncle Neue." We let Madeline and Spencer get in on the act and when Uncle Neue got home from work, they came out of bed to show him their "tattoos."Posted by Picasa

Our little Daisy has become a full blown Brownie. Posted by Picasa

You could almost bounce a quarter off it Spence. Good job.Posted by Picasa

Cleaning time at the Williams home.Posted by Picasa

Sophia was especially proud of her bed making prowess. Nice hair Bopes. Is she patting her pillow really enthusiastically or filming a music video?Posted by Picasa

On Saturday we woke up early and met the Brake ladies and Kerry at Michaels Craft store for free family craft day! At the last minute I decided call Destiny and ask her if she would like to come. We had a lot of fun and ended up making all sorts of crafts all day after we got home. That is Destiny standing next to Spencer..hard to believe that is the same girl that was the flower girl in our wedding! Posted by Picasa

Sophia did really well with this paint project.  Posted by Picasa

The first night of midweek kids church! They are all excited because they each have their own class.  Posted by Picasa

Aren't they so cute?? Posted by Picasa

This is Spencers first homework assignment. He had to dress up a big paper doll like himself. I love the face he made!  Posted by Picasa
