October 14-17 Friends from Aloha

Welcome, Trisha and Rebecca and Conner! I am so sorry Conner...We know you were here but some how you escaped my camera! You will have to send us some copies of the pictures you all took on your way up here. Posted by Hello

Just one of many huge trees in our yards. Fortunately we have been able to keep up on the raking! This picture doesn't even scratch the surface of the breathtaking color it produced in the height of its color change. (Early October) Posted by Hello

Riverfront Park Downtown Spokane

The bottom of the slide..on The Big Red Wagon. Madeline saw a postcard in the store of this wagon and she kept asking me if we could go and see it. So, when Trisha, Conner and Rebecca came into town we decided to go downtown and check it out. Riverfront park is the same location that held the '74 Worlds Fair. There is so much to see and do down there. A beautiful river front. The kids had a blast that day on just two of the many things. This red wagon and then they went on the 1909 carrousel. We had a lot of fun and they even got buy some fresh made mini donuts from a street vendor! We also got to have our good friend Jackie come along and play with us. We love Jackie! Posted by Hello

The kids really loved this slide! Posted by Hello

I think Spencer is a little excited about this whole thing.  Posted by Hello

Rebecca and Sophia prep for the ride of their lives! Posted by Hello

This has got to be one of the fastest carrousels I have ever seen. The first few turns Sophia was holding on to the pole for dear life and then finally Rebecca got her to turn and wave with one hand at Scott, Conner and I as we watched from the sidelines. The kids really liked this ride. I am pretty sure that any of you who come and visit will be taking a spin with them.  Posted by Hello

Spencer...Here is just one reason we call him class clown. Apparently he is "playing dead" for the camera. Thanks Ty! What are you teaching him while you babysit? Posted by Hello

Leaving Aloha

And all this goes where? Posted by Hello

Scott, Conner and Kyle are working hard at compacting as much of our stuff as they can.  Posted by Hello

I love bright smiles coming from our moving crew! Actually I can't believe how alert they seem. These awesome friends worked so hard the day before helping load the vans and cars and then scrubbing the old house clean. They worked really hard. Thanks so much for all your sweat guys! We love you! I really wish that we had taken a picture of all the people that helped that day...a number of loving friends and of course our mothers. Thank you everyone! Posted by Hello

the moving crew. Except we are missing Grandma Lu and Grandpa Tom and oh yeah ...DAN Posted by Hello

No Camera??

Sorry all, we must not have been able to find what box the camera was packed in when we arrived in Spokane. I am sad to say that we have no pictures of the actual move in. But it was a great weekend for all that came with us and all that welcomed us. I will have more pictures of some activiteis in September soon.
