We have tried hard to teach the kids not to interrupt us when we're on the phone. It hasn't been very successful. Today, however, Madeline slipped this note under Tina'a nose while she was on the phone. It was her way of saying she wanted to call Galvin without interrupting her mom. Madeline is a bit concerned after the first few days of school because her good friend Galvin doesn't want to play with her. "He's always playing with his thousand new friends. Today was the fourth day of school and he still hasn't played with me." Apparently he is still nice to her, but he doesn't want to play with her. Fickle little dude.
