Just before we left Dad got put in jail by Hailey's dad, Nick! Haha funny...the kids and I had to really debate on whether we should spend our last ticket on bailing him out or playing that fishing game. It was tough decision. Posted by Hello

After the carnival the Chiacchi (Ki-acky) family came over for a little visit. Isn't little Gabe and Sophia so cute? they are the same age???hmmm....what could the future hold??? Posted by Hello

Today Madeline jumped into the car after school and ripped open her backpack to show me what Galvin had given her when she got to school this morning. On the back he wrote his name and phone number and told her to please call him. I told her that tonight her dad and I will meet him and his parents at the school carnival and if he needs to talk to her so badly he can wait until then. Had to give her the lesson on making boys wait for her and call her! Good grief! The funny part about this picture is she didn't know that he is holding a bouquet of flowers. A true 5 year old romantic! I know everything that she takes to school with her, does his parents know that he seems to have taken a real liking to our little girl??? Posted by Hello

uhhhh...he is so cute! you can't help but smile when you look at Spencer. He just brings out so much joy! Posted by Hello

Spencer is laying on the driveway so that we can trace around his body and color it in with sidewalk chalk. We did this to all 3 kids in the middle of February while grandma Lu was here and they are still on the driveway today. Such mild weather! Posted by Hello

Grandma Lu came for a visit in February for four days. I think Spencer must have had her play this game about 10 times a day while she was here. Posted by Hello

Sophia at times just likes to wear her bike helmet. I am not sure why but I am sure that it comes from her dad! Posted by Hello

She is ready to ride! Posted by Hello

Sophia got her first haircut the last weekend of January. Grandma French and Aunt Christy and Cousins Grace and Andrew came up for a visit and the girls all went to the beauty salon! Sophia smiled the entire time! She absolutely loved being the 'princess' she had a little more than 3 inches cut off! Wow! Posted by Hello

Just done with the cut...what the ham! Posted by Hello

Madeline's "friend"

So things have really gotten bigger since yesterday with Madeline and her 'friend' Galvin at school. Let me first begin saying that she is a typical girl. Yesterday was the first we had heard of this intrest in our daughter, so the typical Dad starts to ask her some questions about the young ladd and the typical girl gets totally embarrased and wants to have no discussion of this with her dad! She atually told Dan " I don't like to say things twice, mom can tell you" I kind of thought that Madeline and I covered all the bases yesterday, that it is important to love your friends...all of them boys and girls blah blah...well today when I picked her up she plopped into the car and was so sad and had some pretty big hurt feelings. I ask her what happened and she said that when she came in from recess in the hallway a big kid (2nd grade girl) said "you shouldn't be holding your girlfriends hand". I totally had forgotten about little Galvin I am thinking she is talking about her friend she plays with normally at recess..Macala! When I asked her about it she said "no mom, I was holding Galvin's hand!" I about died! What the heck is she doing holding his hand. Then she explained that they were playing and the whistle blew and SHE grabbed his hand and went running into the building with him to go back to class. Needless to say I had a long talk with her on the way to the store about holding a boys hand other than her dad or brother. Of course in her mind she wasn't thinking anything different because that is what her and the girls at school do when the whistle blows at recess. Her feelings were so hurt mostly because she didn't want to be called his girlfriend..."because mom...he is just my friend!"
She is so funny. I think we may have this under control now! I am however, worried about what Dan might have to say about his daughter being so forward with a boys hand!

Madeline loves to have her hair curled these days. I think I have figured out why she likes to look her best for school! This morning before school I was sitting on the floor in my room folding clothes and she came in from eating her cereal and was standing there leaning on the end of my bed and she begins to tell me that her friend Galvin at school told her last week "I love you" I tried to direct her into a new direction by saying " oh that is so sweet and it is so good to tell your friends that you love them" then she came right back at with me "I think that Galvin thinks he is going to marry me" So then I ask her..."do you want Galvin to marry you?" a smiley little girls tells " I think so" Although I do believe that Mr. Galvin has been sweet on our little Madeline since the beginning of school. She used to come home so angry because he used to look at her constantly in class. So I closed our conversation telling her that she needs to keep that information private only to her mom and dad! Ahh...though Sping is still a couple of weeks away it seems that love is in the air!  Posted by Hello

The Linder family. Family vacation to Disney World. Posted by Hello

Such a wonderful home!

Below I have posted pictures of the house we were so blessed by getting into upon our arrival here in Spokane 7 months ago. I have never taken the time to put these on the blog for all of you to see and I am not sure why. For most of you that haven't had the chance to come up for a visit you don't even know what we have been blessed with!
We were so happy to get into this place and through some circumstances I have been able to become quite good friends with the Mom of the house....(that is the owner of the house) The Linder family. Michael and Michelle are about the same age as Dan and I and they have 5 beautiful children. I will also post a picture of them as well. I started trading letters with Michelle at the end of last year and in January we started phone calls and A TON of e-mail exchnages. I believe with all my heart that God had such a great plan for bringing our families together. Michelle and I have so very many things in common and the first phone call we had lasted about 2.5 hours. We are like old friends. It has been so much fun.
Michael is in the Air Force and that is how they ended up having a home in Spokane. 2 years ago they were transfered to Florida and with a lot pf prayer from them they really felt like God was telling them that it was time for Michael to be done with the Air Force and to move back to Spokane and settle into their community and focus on their family. (gee, sound familiar?) When Michelle first told me I died...I cried a ton! Mostly because for all of you that know Dan and I, you know that we have had 5 moves in 6 years. And we were really hoping this would be our last move until we bought a house of our own. But again, God's plan is bigger than ours. After some quiet time between the Lord and I.. was up and ready to go and so this August upon the Linders arrival back to their home here the Williams' will be changing their address one more time. By now you should all be using a pencil in your address book for us anyway! Enjoy the pictures! My biggest prayer is that we are able to find a new home within the Elementry School zone the Madeline is in. We love the school!

Here we are! Posted by Hello
