Fourth of July (and the 5th too) 2008

Baby Leyton was born just after midnight. Sarah did all she could to get that baby born on the fourth ( her due date) but he held his own and wanted his own day. Sarah asked me some time ago if I would come with her and Josh and Logan to the hospital and be a part of her delivery. She did a wonderful job and baby was perfect!


After the fireworks, Dan came with the kids to the hosptial and waited outside the room while Sarah labored the last 2 hours. They held up really well! I think it was a little reprieve for Logan to have his friends come by. One of the most precious moments of the night was watching Logan go from being bored to really concerned and then weeping seeing his mommy in pain. I am sure he experienced many emotions that night that were life changing.

While in labor with Sarah Dan and the Smalls took the kids to normal place we go each year to watch fireworks.
