Here we are on the back porch wanting mom to take a picture of our new shoes but it ended up being a totally silly picture. They love to make the "funny faces" Grandma French taught them. 

The kids were racing! we had just bought them all new tennis shoes and told them that they are "fast" running shoes. They were racing back and forth for about 15 minutes. It was really funny! 

Silly little Sophia..she loves back packs..I am sure that there will many pictures of her with them. 

Autumn Greetings

Late September-The Harvest House Apple Festival. Here we are at the Cider House..watching how Apple Cider is made.

Madeline at one point was trying to hold her ears and her nose. Apparently it was a little too smelly as well as too loud. She did however love the drink sample the man gave her.

Sophia is checking out the cute little boy and girl figures on a teeter totter. One of the vendors at the festival makes some pretty neat things from old farming tools and things.

What neat measuring device to check your kids each year. Won't it be fun when they are 12, 14 and 15.

I know, I know we didn't expect the pumpkins to be ready during the apple festival.
