This ones for Aunt Jenny!

Keeping the dynamic duo out of trouble

While Maddie was going through the judges panel we had to keep Spence and Soph busy. thankfully in the gym they had many fun hands on activities for the kids. At this exhibit they learned how paper is made and had the chance to make their own piece of paper.

Maddie takes First!

Maddie got her love of the Monarch Butterfly from her Grandma Lu. In January we checked out a few books from the Library so she could learn more about them. When the science fair flyer came home she new right away she wanted to make a display on the Monarch. She worked very hard and researched all she needed to make quite the display. It paid off. She took first place in all of the second graders. Good Job Mad!

Walk like an Egyptian

The kids (and Dan) were having a major dance party to Sophia's newest Kids Bop Gold CD. This is Spencer's best attempt at walking like an Egyptian!

Roller Valley or bust!!

Yesterday, Dan and I were looking for something fun to take the kids to. When we got to the roller rink they said that they were closing in 30 minutes. So we decided to wait until today to go skating with the kids. We opened up the idea of going to some friends at church and after the word spread..there were about 25 people who ended up coming. It was a lot of fun! It was crazy...seeing how many people knew how to skate and skate well! Posted by Picasa

Spencer was the quickest learner of the Williams trio. He picked up skating pretty quickly and was off on his own in minutes! Good Job! Posted by Picasa

My birthday happen to fall on the same weekend that Spokane was dedicating its Met art center to Bing Crosby. During the day they had a mini Bing film felstival and in the evening they had their dedication ceremony. Dan took me to the last movie of the festival for my birthday. It was White Christmas. I love old movies and for some weird reason I had never seen this one. It was a great movie.
