Madeline had her very first soccer practice today. Her team is called the Blue Dolphins. We all really liked coach Clyde. He runs a tight ship, but he has fun and is fair. He has four daughters, and his third one, Alexandra, is on the team. Madeline had a blast and even won the wind sprint as fastest on her team. Go Schmaddy! Daddy got tired just watching you guys.

Our dear friend and pastor Eric turns 36 on Monday the 28th. Our church family threw him a surprise birthday party/BBQ at Underhill park near the church today after service. It was a great time. Here he is with his present - everyone chipped in to get him a new grill! Happy Birthday bro. Tina and I are so grateful that God put you in our lives. We love you.

my son, my son...please come back to us
Doing life together!!
So over the last year we have really been spending some quality time with our friends the Hurleys! We have really all 4 felt like we were brought together for much greater purposes...and after being told that I have multiple sclerosis, we all see why. we have called it doing life together, I know that God has brought them into our life as such great strength in the most difficult time. HOWEVER, doing life has really meant some pretty gross but hysterical times! In july it was me and my many body functions that were falling apart due to MS...then just a week ago, Sarah had the bloody nose from hell that just wouldn't quit while were all out to a nice dinner and dessert in Idaho--(OH and poor Blauer even had to endure our insane friendship through both those episodes...good training ground..Pastor! ) But I must say we reached new levels last night~! Sarah and Josh kicked their cats out of the house two weeks ago...and while we were over last night they got into the house. Short end of the story...They have 1 CUJO cat! check out how destroyed the liner of their box sping mattress has gotten. By the time this picture was taken Josh aready had the cat in his hand at one point to throw her out but dropped her because she had a fountain of urine being released. then she ran under the bed and got up in the corner of the box spring. THEN while Josh was trying to get her out from under there she took a huge crap in the liner! and then managed to bite at and claw Josh. Gosh the whole room stunk awful! it finally took all of us Lisa, Dusty, Sarah, Josh, Dan and I to get this little thing out. the boys flipped the mattress and then she jumped down. we all had her trapped while sarah took the screen off the window and then Josh grabbed her and launched her out the window. all this in about 30 minutes. Dan and I still aren't sure which was more hillarious the launch out the wndow or Josh almost throwing up out the window from his head being right next to the poop! Then of course we had the bleach cleanup process after! Here's to the many many more years together Hurleys! Just think what else there will be if we are already here in the first year of friendship!!!
Spencer really did turn 6!
Spencer had a really strange birthday this year...but he was really great through it all. I had started feeling sick the week before his birthday and by his actual birthdate I was bed ridden and not well at all! Josh and Dan took him and the kids to the air show for his birthday and then about a week after my diagnosis..I realized my son didn't even get a birthday cake. He never even said a word. So we suprised him 3 weeks after his brithday with some cake and ice cream.
The williams' go camping
Our first and last camping trip of Summer 2006. Maybe next year will be better. This was planned last January and we didn't intend for my recent diagnosis. So we still went ahead. Sarah, Josh, my mom and Dan helped me out a ton as I couldn't pull it together as I normally would. My mom was here and helped me pack bags and get camping stuff out and as you can see Dan loaded the car!!!! All in all it was good timing to get away and get some fresh air and be in the quiet. We had a really good time with our family and good friends!
The first night of sleep was a little nuts. It started out ok..the kids went to bed just great. but when Dan and I went to bed, I was changing into pajamas and I turned around and was staring straight at a huge Hobo spider..the size of a silver doller. It took some work bt finally after about 10 minutes Dan got him. Didn't sleep so well that night.
