We went to Josh and Sarah's for brunch Christmas morning. Averie is fascinated with the twirling ballerina in the jewelry box. 

wow, finally something wider looking than the gap in his fron teeth. 

 

Christmas morn. Dan and I woke up to hearing the movement of packages. then maddie running in saying "Santa came...there are packages ..little ones, big ones, short ones, long ones. And he ate the cookies and drank the milk...now do you believe in him Spencer, like sophia and me. it was so funny!

Dan got back to it again finally....he drew these two pictures for his nephews. such a good job! 

 

BAKE DAY 2006. Sophia and Madeline are helping Sarah unwrap all the kisses for the cookies.  

the kids got to open 1 present each while Grandma and Grandpa were in town the rest had to wait unitl Christmas morning.

Averie is very good at making a statment of "hurt feelings" when her dad tells her no. Don't be fooled she isn't crying....she is in full on pout mode!

a group of us from Jacob's Well went to cut down our trees together...it was blast! 

He was so elated at the concept of going to cut the tree etc that it didn't matter the size. truly shows us the american craze of bigger and better bang for your buck etc.
